Accounting Advisor / Virtual CFO
Deborah Neel strives to provide every client with a valuable, full-service experience that combines accounting expertise, tailored insight, and strategic business guidance. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and has also earned her Client Accounting Advisory Services certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Sage Intacct Accounting Specialist certification.
In 2007, Deborah started working for PBA as an independent contractor and has been full-time since 2011. In addition to delivering timely and accurate information, Deborah strives to become a seamless extension of each client’s team. She advises business owners and employees, establishes controls, designs systems and improves processes—with an emphasis on making things easy to understand and manage.
An innate talent of Deborah’s is her ability to find patterns in financial records and reports and make adjustments to keep things on track. That “aha” moment when she and her clients figure something out together is the favorite part of her work. She also appreciates having the in-house resources of her PBA family, each bringing unique solutions and perspectives.
Deborah has three sons and loves to learn and read. She is currently pursuing her CPA and takes advantage of as many online courses as possible, with a special interest in philosophy. Florida is her favorite travel destination to visit her family and help take care of her niece and nephew.
“With PBA, dental practices gain expertise and support far beyond accounting. Our goal is to be a partner that, at the end of the day, gives dentists confidence in their business so they can relax more and worry less.”
